By using SpindleMate you agree to these terms. Please read the safety section carefully: the app is a calculation aid, not a replacement for professional judgement.

Results are starting points

Calculation results and recommended cutting values are starting references. Actual cutting conditions must follow the tool maker’s data, the machine manual and test cuts. Recommended ranges are conservative starting ranges; start at the low end and increase step by step.

Do not operate your phone while the machine is running, and follow the safety rules of your workplace.

G-code snippets

The app outputs G-code snippets only, never complete programs, and snippets contain no safety blocks (reference return, tool selection, work offsets, G40 and so on). Controls and parameters (decimal-point programming, G-code system A/B/C, diameter or radius programming) change their meaning. Check them against your machine manual and always dry-run or single-block them before cutting.

Reference data

Thread, fit, hardness and pipe-thread values are based on the international standards listed on the formulas page (Formulas & sources). The current edition of the standard prevails. Material grade equivalents are approximate. We correct data errors as soon as we learn about them and list every correction in the changelog (Changelog). The app is not an official exam question bank.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage to tools, workpieces or machines, or for lost production, resulting from the use of calculation results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence or statutory consumer rights.

Purchases

SpindleMate Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase with Family Sharing. There is no subscription. Payment, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. You can restore purchases in Settings.

Trademarks and independence

Names of control manufacturers (for example FANUC, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain) are used only to describe compatible formats. SpindleMate is not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by any machine, control or tool manufacturer.
